I ain't seen beck play. Lahm, (although world class) was ahead of him in the german squad in the world cup, even Boateing was ahead of him, and he's been garabge at man shity.

i dont really see why vdw is rated so highly, is there really a shortage of decent full backs in the world? whenever i've watched him play for ajax his defensive lapses are of some concern, going forward he is good, but ultimately speaking id rather have a fullback that can actually defend over one that can attack

Hazard is quality. Would be a quality signing aswell, and would show we actually do have ambition, if we signed any of them.
