As long as VDS extends his contract they are covered. Yes it has been speculated but if you substitute VDS with Buffon United will not do any better than they are doing now.
They need a quality CB in place of Ferdinand, they need a WC left winger and possibly a central/attacking midfielder.

Given their money problems, it would be stupid to spend the little money they have on a goalie.
