About who you ask? When it comes to Aquilani I think he can play for us in EL.

I'm not sure about the rule itself, though.

I agree, but at least according to rumours, almost all summer the board concenrated on forwards - postition, which requires the least strengthening.

That's because apparently Dzeko is Agnelli's dream signing. The non-EU rule fucked it up for us though because we were in dilemma with him and Krasic. I don't see us getting a striker now to be honest, a CB and possibly a LB.

There is some sort of a rule that a team can register 1 player in January who was previously registered in other team but only if a team never played in the same tournament. Even if the team played in qualifications round of Champions League, the player couldn't be registered for a Champions League team, but he could for Europa League team.

I bet that Aquilani will not be eligible to play. At least according to Europa League regulations.

Yeah, I don't understand that too. Maybe there are some exceptions which are not available to public (but I doubt) or maybe he was talking about possible registration for a Champions League club, but at that case he could have played as far as I understand. I think the only way to register Aquilani this season is if Liverpool do not make to the group stage.
