Never seen anything too special from VDV? :wth:

If anything, VDV is generally underrated, not overrated. In our national team he's usually behind Sneijder and at Madrid he's competing with Kaká, who's one of their 'big' signings and who's hardly shit.

He'd give our midfield so much more flair and creativity. He has a great pass and shot aswell.

Unless overcrowded in midfield already, any club who doesn't atleast consider VDV for ~10m is just plain stupid, imo.

* Waits for 'yea, but he's Dutch.. so you're biased'-comments *
You're sooooo self conscious about your bias for Dutch players :D

Yes, you do, i don't think you're that biased anyway. How could you be when like i said you're too self conscious about the bias :D

I don't recall one post you made about a Dutch player, where you didn't feel the need to write that you may be biased because you're Dutch at the end of the post :D

Wow, i just know that Ilsinho (RB/RW) from Shaktar Donetsk is free because his contract is expired.. I thought it would be a good idea to sign him.. I only watched him 2 times in CL, one of them is against Barca and he looks good especially his dribbling skill and pace..

If he was so good he wouldn't have been a free agent at the age of 24.

I ususally give dutch players lots of credit
I liked Davids back then and thought he was the best DM in the world
Seedorf was underated all those years
Sneijder is one of the best at his position
VDW is quite talented
Elia is very good too

as for VDV he is a good player there is no doubt about it but he is not as great as you describe him
I agree he is worth the 10M but so are others who play his position
VDV is a good player but he is not amazing

I think you would have a very difficult time finding a player of VDV's calibre for that kind of money. His price would only be that low because he's at Madrid, and they tend to sell really cheap, just to get rid of players. I think he would add a lot of 'football' to our rather idealess, but solid, midfield. He'd definitely make an impact.

He's worth well more than 10m.

But fair enough, each to his own.

Thing is, she doesn't. That's quite a while ago now, she's healthy. I know they didn't force him to move or anything during that period though. In the end that was a good move for Madrid, from a sports perspective, as he had to replace Kaká for quite some time.

I have no idea whether or not he'll leave Madrid if I'm honest.

Real want Tremoulinas, another ones gone

Insua name will be popping alot more now, if Corvino wanted him hes has to be doing something right,

haven't seen much of him but if he can defend well I say for 3-4 mil its not a bad deal, he didn't go to Fiorentina because he wanted a 1mil and they offered 800 000
