I'm not a fan. We need a left back, but Elia to me looks like he would be right on the edge of games. Diego must stay.

Why do you want Diego to leave? Gio is a great player and I would hope he stays, but if he is starting at the AM I think we have a problem.

I like it, but isn't Delneri doing that 4-4-1-1 thing?
I'd like to have:

Trez
Diego
Pepe/Martinez--Melo--Marchisio--Camoranesi
Grosso--Chiellini--Bonucci--Motta​

But I really want Grosso replaced with Kolorav, Clichy or Coentrao. Camoranesi would be replaced with Krasic. I like these Marquez rumours as well so we can have an experienced centerback while Bonucci comes in against lesser teams.

pretty much overrated
him and aogo could be good some day but both are pretty unproven.... i wouldn't trade them with diego

I think Dezko wont be here this season and with that price tag I'm not sure its a wrong move. we need one more season to get rid of the deadwoods in our ST department first, too many bums there.

With that kind of mony we can buy two wingers or a winger and a LB, both world class or soon to be.

Beside krasic, we can get Eden or even Elia(don't rate him much right now), and for LB we can surly get Coentrao for 20 at most or clichy for even less.

But with money saved from no Dezko we can surly get a great LB. there a still a few out there in our range

Elia is fantastic. Just we bought two wingers and he would cost quite a lot.
I kind of wish we had gotten Van der Wiel instead of Motta, though. It is probably way too late now, especially since his WC performance.

But hey, at least you aren't like me. I'm the only Podolski fan on this forum and probably in the entire world :frown:
