does anyone else know what are our other keeper options?

There's a certain keeper in the market who only conceded ONCE in the WC, via rebound, who is available for just 4.5M€. Also, he was one of the best GK's in Europe, conceding only 20 goals in the competition. Oh, have I mentioned he's only 27?

yes, if 2 goals of Vittek were not counted. Eduardo is the only GK i know satisfying his conditions:

Havent watched him at club level though, judging players just only by their WC forms is not enough imo (Podolski - big example)

I did! He's pretty consistent and isn't prone to the occasional blunder. He is a really modest guy who is known for his dedication in training and has been producing good saves for quite some years now. The only part of his game I'm not sure of is the ability to collect long balls (from crosses), but it's strange that he does it quite well on corners. He could improve that part of his game, but other than that, he's a top class keeper. He was going to join Benfica, but they opted for Atletico's 3rd choice keeper for 8.5M€ (?!?!) Nobody here understands this. Not even their supporters who were calling for Eduardo.

If Eduardo has a release clause of 4.5m then Benfica would have bought him instead of Roberto. I hear Bayern wants him and offer more than that.

Arsenal and Man Utd are being linked to him. I'm digging up some info on this subject. Eduardo renewed his contract with Braga on the condition they wouldn't change its release clause. Some sources say it's a 4M€ release clause, some mention it as a minimum fee release clause. All of them agree that his price will be decided by the highest bidder. Whether it is 4,6,8, or 10M€. I went as far as to SC Braga official forum to look for info and even they are confused! Guess it's a matter of time until Braga releases an official statement on this.
