If they can get Aguero without sacrificing Diego then this will be massive. But I really doubt it will happen like that, I think if it came down to it, which it probably won't then it's would be a straight choice between the 2.
we can offer them other players it just not needs to be diego. poulsen, melo, amauri, iq. i would accept anyone of them going to athletico. also they have tiago that costs around 8 mil. so if kuns price is 50 mil, we can offer them arround 30 + tiago + another player or 2.

Guys were you watching Diego shooting this year? Or taking guys in their penalt box? I say if we can keep him - do it, but if it is the only option for Aguero -> Done deal!!!
While at it if Trezeguet is leaving, Amauri could follow as far as I am concerned. Iaquinta could stay as a second choice tall striker, but we need another one for sure. Can this be the dream mercato when we are getting Aguero AND Dzeko ??? Man Shitty are said to be in talks for Higuanin ... Chamakh is Arsenal bound... Who else is left for Dzeko to go to?

of course but when buying a player it's far more important that they fit into our system more than being a superstar, if they are both then I guess that's a BONUS!!! :D

not if we get Aguero and start winning again, sometimes certain players don't fit into certain teams, maybe this is the case and maybe it's for the best on both parties.
the easiest thing a coach can do is sell and but players to fit in the system. the hard one is to make the great players of the team fit in the system. mourinho changed eto into a second striker. of course delneri is not mourinho but i want to see him trying to fit them both in our system...
Aguero is a natural supporting striker. I can think of a better heir to DP right now. Diego could play prob play as a suporting striker and he could prob play on the left. I just think it would be better for the team to have Aguero than Diego, if we are truly gonna stick to a 442.

It don't see a problem in having both, except that we would have to splash 40 M on him, and that is not likely. But I could see a 442 with diego on the left, a little like we did with Zidane if I remember correctly.

But, if the only choice is Aguero for Diego, Tiago and Cash I'm for it.

But hey i'd rather they did Aguero 40, Kjaer/Bonucci 12, Criscito for Palladino and sign say Krasic to the right for 20. That is 72 big ones minus sales. Could be done. I guess we still need a rb though.

I seriously doubt atletico are that foolish, as if they are going to let their most valuble player go for 2 of our second rate players, we'd be getting away with murder.
If they were to trade I'm pretty sure they'd want a pretty big player in return and Diego is the only one who fits the bill and would realistically leave.

Kun is the ideal replacement for DP
Alex can still play for us but we would have his heir already in place
go for it, absolutely don't hesitate even if it means losing Diego
we must not adjust everything to accomodate one player

Kun would be our entire Mercato.

We need to build a team, it doesn't matter about idividual reputations what matters is that Delneri has a cohesive and effective unit that won't give up. To do that we need to replace at least 6 first team players, if Kun takes money from that, then we'll be even worse next year.

they sent their captain in liverpool at Christmas without any exchange. they sold torres before some years and they signed luis garcia from liverpool. so they don't seem to look for a equivalent player but for cash. give them iq as an exchange. he can play as a support striker.

if this is not completely bullshit we have 2 big weapons. firstly they have tiago who has settled well and they probably want to buy him. in addition to this aguero wiliness would play a big role in the transfer. the guy knows that he has achieved all he can do with athletico. he knows that del piero is aging and he knows that he will take his place. for a young player this is huge.

on the other hand i don't see many teams chasing aguero. there is only one team i am afraid of. Chelsea. they need a striker like kun and they didn't spend much on previous transfer periods so i can see them pushing really hard for him. of course someone of drogba and anelka should be sold cause none of them would like to sit on the bench but it can be done. i can't see another team having more chances than us in signing him. arsenal have 2 very good supporting strikers. city is a club that has the money but i don't think that kun would prefer than us. manchester have rooney at the same position. real have a lot of strikers. barca just signed villa and i can't see them signing another striker. inter have eto and milito and they just said that balo is staying.

anyway, all this may be newspapers shit. but he is my dream. a young del piero...

Hey Aguero!

Yes unscrupulous latin american agent

Do you want to go to Juventus?

Maybe, yeah

Ooooor you could go to double winning chelsea and be pretty much guaranteed a CL semi-final every season plus double the wages

Nah I think I'll go to Juve so I can be the next Del Piero

:disagree:

Wow Aguero is pretty over-rated on here!!

I can't understand how everyone's willing Juve to pay 40mil or a deal worth that figure for this guy.
He's a decent player when he wants to be, he is incosistent and not worth that much money..
Unless you only watched Aguero on EL-final or you-tube, you conisder this Diego+Tiago+ 17ish mil deal a win-win situation..

go ask some true Atleti fans, who watch kun week in week out, how they feel about him and rate this guy!

I know it's only a paper talk BS, but if this deal happens, it's gonna be another Ibra-Eto'o swap kind of a deal..
