Stop dreaming with those formations of Diego AND Aguero.
If we get Aguero it's only if we give them Diego+Tiago+$$.
Trade him for Giovinco, Tiago and cash

done deal that shit. Its for the good of the team and also for Gio/Tiago

:flag1: Let The Old Lady rise again
Yup we could do it with Gio and more cash.. That would be optimal

If Del Neri is certain to play a 40402, then diego will be wasted on a wing or as a SS. May as well utitlise him in a deal to get aguero...buy vargas and a winger like krasic and it will be better overall.

I dont think aguero will sign for juve though, i couldnt imagine the other big clubs playing in the CL and having more cash not offering something for him.

You are right about the other clubs, but Atletico didn't play much CL the past years aswell. He probably figures juve will (just not this year), so there is still a shot. As Aguero is a loyal player who likes to play somewhere for many years, he might choose us over clubs like Man city or something...

As the attacker he is, he wants to marry the project Juventus. He attempts to become leader of a noble and ambitious club, because he is eager to seek his fortune in the Italian league, because given the young age - just 21 years is willing to shoulder a year in purgatory (without the Champions League) in front of ' opportunity to become a leading player in a society, Juventus, who can really return to the top of football that counts.

according to tuttosport :andyandbarcelona:

Hope Tuttosport for once are right, that would surely make my day :juventus:

are you kidding dude? something like this would make me whole year. just hope it isn't media bullshit...

It's about getting players who accomodate our system. I fear Diego cannot adapt to the 4-4-2.
agree with you on that, but for some players it's ok to make some adjustments to the system. i think that diego has a great future in the game and i don't want to see him in another team doing great things. he just needs a creative force near him in the pitch. aguero is exactly this...

in other news, today's reports claim that zapata is close to napoli...

and the improvement is?? we should try to sign more good players every year. if we sign one and sell another we are not improving...
Aguero is better than Diego.

We can compete with City, and Chelsea have stepped down, so I don't think he'll have that many offers.

I would like to keep Diego, make no mistake about that. But there is prob 5-7 players which i'd trade him for, and Aguero is one of them.

As much as this is a fantasy, if we were to play a 4-4-2 Diego would be useless, I'd swap him for Aguero in a heartbeat. Sorry Diego but we can't have another season of having only half the team that can fit in the system we play.
This season things need to fit perfect.

It's not about who's the better player, it's about who's the better player for our team.

i don't rate kun much greater than diego. they are at the same level. i don't want to chose someone of them.

i think that selling diego cause he can't fit to the system would be henry story part 2.

That a so called win win situation.
of course but when buying a player it's far more important that they fit into our system more than being a superstar, if they are both then I guess that's a BONUS!!! :D

not if we get Aguero and start winning again, sometimes certain players don't fit into certain teams, maybe this is the case and maybe it's for the best on both parties.

the easiest thing a coach can do is sell and but players to fit in the system. the hard one is to make the great players of the team fit in the system. mourinho changed eto into a second striker. of course delneri is not mourinho but i want to see him trying to fit them both in our system...

If they can get Aguero without sacrificing Diego then this will be massive. But I really doubt it will happen like that, I think if it came down to it, which it probably won't then it's would be a straight choice between the 2.
