Had a knock to his knee. Just bad luck. They feared the worst, but apparently he walked without cruthces and carried his own bags this morning.

He is quite the opposite, don't think he has missed 3 games in a row for Palermo in his two seasons there yet.

Juve trade Diego for Aguero?
Friday 28 May, 2010
Sergio 'El Kun’ Aguero could be the reinforcement for next season’s Juventus, but only if Diego joins Atletico Madrid in exchange.
The Bianconeri are looking for new forwards, as David Trezeguet is expected to leave and Amauri is also considering offers.

According to Tuttosport newspaper this morning, the number one target is Argentina sensation Kun Aguero.

Diego Armando Maradona’s son-in-law won the Europa League with Atletico Madrid and there is already a strong rapport between the clubs thanks to Tiago Mendes swapping over in January.

It is reported that Juve are offering Diego plus the permanent transfer of Tiago and cash in order to bring in Aguero.

Diego could find it difficult to work within new Coach Gigi Del Neri’s 4-4-2 system and has already shown problems in adapting to different Serie A tactics this season.

“I see no problem in staying with Juventus even with Del Neri, as I can adapt,” said the former Werder Bremen star.

“I don’t want to leave just because the debut season didn’t go well. However, clearly the club has to think that too and we need to clarify the situation.

“I want to understand if I am part of their plans for the next campaign, otherwise we can find alternative arrangements.”

It's Tuttosport and probably BS but as much I like Diego, Aguero would be a dream.

Could Diego be used on the left, and cut into the pitch? 442 with a real winger like Krasic on the right?

xx - Marchiso - Melo - Diego

-------------------Aguero
Iaquinta/Amauri

But then we would have to gice them Gio or something... blah

^It's 4-2-2-2
EDIT: oh sorry I didnt see D'ago there, so he meant 4-3-3

That Aguero deal doesn't sound very good tho, IMO it favours Atleti more..

Well does seem like a formation in Del Neri's repertoire.

But something a 433 perhaps.

Marchisio Melo D'ago

Aguero________________________Diego

Amauri/Iaquinta/(Gila)
This Very Strange Formation, My Friend :shifty:
It is meant as a barca like 433. Guess it didn't look quite like that.

@B3.

Diego (20), Tiago(7) + 17 = 44, that is pretty much the price of Aguero i'd think. Cut off 4 M and I don't think they are favoured.
But this is prob BS rumour anyway.. I just like to dream a little today.
