Doyle is 26, a bit old to be "promising". He is better than the likes of Paolucci though.

I like St. Ledger but he'll never be good enough for this level.

Seamus Coleman is a very good player. Trap needs to get him in the team instead of McShane. If (when) Coleman really makes it at international and/or club level, the Sligo Rovers fans will all have one big shared orgasm though.

People rave about Doyle...I'm not convinced at all. If he had the service he may do better, but he seems to be another hard working striker who lacks the cutting edge.

Seamus Coleman is a very good player. Trap needs to get him in the team instead of McShane. If (when) Coleman really makes it at international and/or club level, the Sligo Rovers fans will all have one big shared orgasm though.

I can confirm that Coleman is class. Going forward he is clearly technically adept but he does go missing on the break which is to be expected of an attacking full back like him. But for someone soo young he is going to be decent player, hopefully the pool can retain his service on loan for next season...

That's my only real concern about him. Even at League of Ireland level he was slightly suspect defensively.

He has the typical on/off winger charecteristics, something we could utilise.

That's my only real concern about him. Even at League of Ireland level he was slightly suspect defensively.

He would probably be a half decent 'defensive' right winger for a classic 442. Considering Bale revoloution at LB / LM, employ the similar system and he could be usefull. But his ability to loose his man is akin to Zebina.

I would have to disagree on both counts, when I see Candreva he is a CAM stuck out wide, whereas McGeady is an old fashioned dribbler and a proper winger.
