A mix of Italiens, Argies and Frenchies should be the way to go.

Brazilians and Juve = FAIL.

Diego, Amauri and Melo have been royal flops, hands down. I'm not happy with how they've performed at all. A handful of good performances doesn't outweight most of the season underperforming.

I am willing to give them another chance, but they only have like a season more to show their worth.
Nobody has failed more than the Italian players this season.

Erm, does it even matter if the Brazilians/Italians/French failed the most? Like it makes a difference what nationality someone is.
Alot of people on this board, in the stadiums and in Turin feel just because we paid 25 million for Diego and Melo they've been our worst players this season. When in fact they've been far from the worst.

If you consider price/performance ratio, Diego and Melo are biggest flops. Yes, they are even bigger failure than Grosso who cost us 2 million €.
How? have you seen Diego's stats he's one of our top assist men. Cannavaro,Grosso,Grygera,Legro,Zebina,Sali,Poulsen,Sissoko,Iaquinta,Amauri have all had woeful seasons. Diego especially has been one of our better players this season.

Diego was supposed make the difference but he has failed especially when we need him in difficult matches. Those assists were from set pieces.

I am not saying we should sell him but he was a complete failure and he has to start playing like Diego we expected before the new season.

cmon turk its unfair to slate a player who is surrounded by players on low confidence or just shit. last night proved that. I'd like to add that Nedved was alot worse in his first season at Juve. perhaps we should ask ourselves where were the rest of the team when we needed them in difficult matches?

I don't agree with that at all. If you count how many goals Diego created for us this year compared to how many Grosso cost us, then Gross wins the biggest flop prize hands down. Diego was not a flop, he was probably one of our best players. Amauri's contribution also would put him in line for the flop award!

I will have to disagree. Yes Diego was bought to win matches, which he would do if he could rely on a defence to defend. Players like Diego will always drift in and out of matches, if we had the players around him who were competent to play in a diamond midfield this would not be a problem. However Melo and sissoko cannot pass, therefore imho unable to play in a diamond.

Considering the circumstances I believe he the best midfielder we had during the Ciro reign. The pointless Zac reign merely made it harder for Diego to shine.

I hope we keep him and build the 4231 around him and Gio.

Melo has been by far the biggest flop. Then Grosso who's incompetance is astounding considering he has won a world cup.

ok look diego has been one of our only shining lights this season, he in his first season in a different league has still been very influential in a team that did him no favours. imagine if the team were any good!

"HARRY REDKNAPP wants Bordeaux left-back Benoit Tremoulinas as part of his plans to turn Tottenham into a European force.

Tremoulinas, 24, is on the hit-list as Redknapp prepares Spurs for their first season in the Champions League.

The Bordeaux defender has three years left on his contract with the French club, but Tottenham have the pull of Premier League football.

Tremoulinas has improved under the guidance of Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc and has repeatedly insisted he wants to stay at the club.

He was named in the French league's Team of the Year this season and is one of the country's most promising young players.

Team-mate Marouane Chamakh is joining Arsenal this summer on a free transfer and Treomoulinas may not be far behind. "

We really dont need that many changes, if we keep the right elements in the team.

B
Code:
            Buffon
Caceres XXXX Chiellini XXXX
     Melo/Sisso Marchisio
  XXXXX* Diego Giovinco
           XXXX
* If we get a winger that can play both flanks and keep Camo, we'd be well covered. If Giovinco is out, the new winger can play down the left and Camo can play.

All in all with 4 starters we could go a very long way. Who knows, our current strikers might do much better as well if we upgrade the rest of the team sufficiently.
