was I comparing them by how good they are?

Chiellini when he was in Viola, always talked about how much he wanted to stay there and not go back to Juve. like Criscito is doing now with Genoa.

Chiellini is the best CB in the world IMO, Crisicto is a talented LB who can be a good player for us,

I'd bring both Crisicito and Palladino back. Criscito for obvious leftback issues. Palladino coupled with a great winger purchase( yes easier said than done) could turn out to be quite effective. We wont buy two high quality wingers. So one high quality and one relatively cheap Palladino would be a good solution. If we play with advanced wingers we'd be covered quite well with Giovinco, New Purchase, Camoranesi and Palladino for two positions.

hazard and vargas arn't really what i call world class, they have had an excellent season. tbh i think palladino is adequate enough, although i would much rather we gave the likes of Rossi, Iago, Esposito a run out.
