Ok, here's a question from me.
This may sound weird, first of all I want to say that I'm not Italian hater even if it might look like.
For those who want Pazzini or Gilardino, or those who say Matri is good, or that Acquafresca is good -
Have you really thought of other league strikers, like in La Liga or EPL? Let's just look at top teams. Am I wrong or they don't have any striker of that type in their team? One might wonder why Italy is falling apart. Do they have anyone like Pazzini or Gilardino? They do score, but I mean strikers that are limited, strikers that can't do anything one-on-one? Maybe it's just me but I can't think of any.
And also, Gilardino is doing good in Viola so they might sell him. What are the odds he'll go aboard? I'd say pretty low. I think only Italian clubs will want him (of course we'll be in pole position). Acquafresca, he'll always stay in Italy.
We need dynamic strikers, somebody who can score out of nothing. I don't think any of the above mentioned have scored from a long rage shot. Seriously, how can that be a good striker? Being a box striker is too old for nowadays football, just as Italy system from the mid 90s that they keep playing. Iaquinta lacks something to be great, but he was linked with Chelsea and some other clubs. Coincidence, maybe.
And I'm saying all this as a Juve fan, not some average club (we might look like one now but that's not it), when I say we don't need those. Pazzini is overrated when you look at that poll and see how many people want him and I DO know that many of them already said they'd be willing to give more than 15mln euros for him. So try to explain me that.
