If Trezeguet leaves after this season then lets use him wisely and try to exchange him for Tremoulinas or Cissokho for example.

To think a team is going to let one of its best players leave because Juve offer an aging, injury prone striker to sweeten the deal is foolish.

There isn't a point in going after Cissokho. If we wanted him, we should have got him before Lyon swooped in. Now we'll have to deal with Aulas and he'll demand 25M Euros for the player. So it's too late now.

Tremoulinas would come a bit cheaper.

    Who's injury affected us most?
At the beginning of the season it was: Del Piero, Trezeguet and Camoranesi.

Then: It became Del Piero only (very short period)

Afterwards and till now: Camoranesi, Trezeguet and Marchisio.

If you look at our team the following players ARE a must start to compensate for others:
Buffon, Chiellini, Marchisio, Camoranesi, Del Piero and Trezeguet.

6 players to compensate for the other 5. Whether its Cannavaro, Caceres, Grosso, Sissoko, Melo , poulsen or even Diego. They've all disappointed to a certain extent.

The 6 players mentioned may not have played better than the rest of the squad, but whether some like it or not WE REALLY depend on them. Marchisio's injury left a huge space in the midfield. Trezeguet's injury meant no more goal scoring. Del Piero's absence meant noone knows how to take a PK or FK let alone get them in the first place. Camoranesi absence meant no more crossing, no more creativity and we became predictable. While we should be very thankful that Buffon and Chiellini have maintain a somewhat of healthy season or we would have conceded 4 goals in every game.
Damn... I was spot on... unfortunately :( :sergio:
