Suarez wouldn't be a good signing, he's just not that good of a player. 10mil€ max, but he doesn't have the quality to make Juve contenders.

And i don't think fans should expect more than 2 or 3 signings, like last year. Mexes/Kjaer and Caceres and maybe a winger/striker. Secco really fucked it up with the likes of Cannavaro and Grosso last summer.
If Cannavaro is a starter next season, we're truly fucked....

Could we go for Rafinha and let Caceres pair up with Chiellini, isn't he originally a CB?

I don`t know how good he is at CB mistakes in the center of the defence is more crucial than mistakes of a RB or a LB

since he says another 50m, what we get from sold players won't be used in mercato. it will be 50m no matter how many shit we sell.
Nah, the market isn't that static as you pictured it.
Take last year for example, when the original budget planned for transfers was ~40m (which resulted with tough negotiations and hard play from both sides in D'Agostino's case) but the market movement and the developments on the market made us beat the budget and buy Felipe Melo.
Another reason for not respecting the planned budget can be an unplanned sale.
Lets say that after the world cup Buffon decides to leave and we get an offer of 40-50m eur for him. We can't keep him, we'll have to sell him and the influx of cash will at least force us to break the 50m eur budget by buying a new goalkeeper, while if we don't have other holes to fill, we will probably spend the rest of the Buffon cash for new quality players if an opportunity pops up.

These 50m (if it's any truth in what this agent says) are the initial plan. We maybe plan to buy player A for 20m, player B for 17m and player C for 13m and we plan to sell player A for 8, player B for 7 and player C for 6. So yes, if we then sell player D for 5m we might not spend them on a new player, but if we sell player D for 40m or if an opportunity pops up to buy player B1 instead of player B for 22m (instead of the planned 17m) we will act according to the developments on the market.

Are there any recent history of a sweep in that magnitude for any clubs? I think we Realistically can ship 5/6 players of, and maybe sign 3/4. So if we just sign starters, we should be good. But shipping out 10+ players. Seems unrealistic to be honest...

Fiorentina director of sport Pantaleo Corvino has admitted he would consider a move to Roma.

Corvino is widely regarded as the best talent scout in Italy after signing the likes of Mirko Vucinic and Stevan Jovetic.

Roma have tried to hire him in the past, but without success, however, Corvino has said on more than one occasion that the prospect certainly interests him.

“I have to say that Roma have an important management that is doing important things and that's it's right that they continue to do well,” Corvino told Centro Suono Sport.

“They are doing extraordinary things. We are also trying to do the same, but it's not easy with a restricted budget to compete with the teams from the north.”

Asked if he would remain in Florence for another year, Corvino replied: “I play with my on the table. If an offer arrives I will evaluate it.

“If Fiorentina were no longer to believe in me, Rome is a city where I would feel at ease,” he concluded.

Roma? Fuck them, come here.

That's not part of The Project™!

Or has The Project™ been thrown out the window since Ciro was fired? Because I don't think that was part of it.

Corvino & Prandelli

Bring those two, fire Secco & Blanc and appoint Bettega & Lippi as President and Vice President. So easy, Elkann.

Lippi can fuck off. He's partly responsible for this mess that we're in.
Lippi is not responsible for anything. Gigli, Blanc and Secco are. This bullshit rumors spread out by the italian media are nonsense. So, they're trying to say that Lippi is controlling the clowns Gigli, Blanc and Secco? :sergio:

Lippi influenced the club's decisions to sign the decrepit duo of Grosso and Cannavaro. I blame Blanc and Secco for letting themselves be influenced but I also blame Lippi.
