However I fail to see how we can ever compete in trying to sign a top class player. We do not have funds, we do not have an attractive way of playing that will make the players choose us, we are lagging behind other clubs badly, we are not in the champions league, we do not have a great coach that players will want to play under.

i don't disagree with this. but i would prefer somebody younger. i don't mean 18 years old kid who is supposed to be the next canna/nesta. i mean a player with something good in his career so far but is under 25 years old. Kjaer would be the best option for me...

The only difference we have when we play Caceres instead of Grygera at RB is that he provide more when going forward. Defensively and in the air he is a joke. This says much for a guy that is supposed to be a CB.

He's a good defender, and can be ideal partner with Chiellini. He isn't a Melo or Ronaldo party animal, he is actually serious. But he is too injury prone, and considering our record injuries at Vinovo I see him as the next Andrade if we had to sign him. There are many other defenders.
