Juventus eye bid for Pazzini
Friday 22 January, 2010
Juventus are giving a great deal of thought to a bid for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini, according to Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri have struggled going forward this season and many pundits feel it's time they started rejuvenating their attack.

David Trezeguet is coming towards the end of his Juventus career, and Pazzini is among the favourites to replace him.

Pazzini was the best Italian goal scorer in Serie A last year and his performances have attracted interest from Chelsea.

Tuttosport understands that Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco has had extensive talks with Roberto Bettega about signing the 25-year-old Italy international.

He is reportedly being valued at around €20m, a figure Juventus hope to bring down by offering Paolo De Ceglie or even Seba Giovinco in exchange.

Juventus have also been linked with Giuseppe Rossi and Edin Dzeko, but Pazzini remains their No 1 transfer target.

We should look for all because we're weak everywhere at the moment. With Del Piero injured most of the time, Trez too and Amauri, we can't score.

We're hoping for corners and Chiellini's headers.

well only if we sell a striker i think should we bring in another, as bad as our strikers have been there not bad players and a lot has to do with service.

:agree: We are in need of strikers, I agree fully with Dule, DP and Trez aren't fit enough, and Amauri doesn't seem to know that the job of a striker is scoring.

maybe we can loan Huntelaar until the end of the season, seems to me that he is a cheaper solution then Pazzini.

id much rather have suarez over rossi any day!!

why do ppl rate him so highly..quoting 20-25 million for a striker whos best tally for a season was 12!!!!
and he only has 4 so far this season

why waste another huge sum for an amauri repeat

We need SUPERSTARS from now on!!!where are our rooneys, david villas, dzekos, ibra, tevez, messi, cristiano, lampard, drogba, fabregas, essien, alves, van persie, xavi, maicon, lahm etc.....

BEsides Chiellini,Buffon and Diego this team lacks legitimate superstars!!

the rest of our squad is either old, unknown or average in the eyes of other clubs' fans esp those who follow the prem or la liga

We need major upgrades...I miss watching this team cover itself in glory and its become fuking painful and heartbraking watching average players come in and flop or not contribute according to our fukin project!!

SUPERSTARS!!!
If you want to cheer for a team with superstars, you should become a Real fan, they have plenty.

Strangely I think Huntelaar would be a good fit for us.

I'm almost certain we won't get any striker in January though.

Because he's big, strong, good in the air and I think he would fit into our 4-2-3-1 quite nicely.

Why should Tiago do better for Atletico? Why should Henry do better for Arsenal?

Sometimes a change is what players need. It's not as though he's been starting or playing a lot of games in Milan.

4-3-3 need power forward too.

Because they changed league.

I don't think that Juve differs a lot from Milan for some foreigner.
