Why write off Pazzini? He still needs to prove himself somewhere that isn't Samp but he has been very impressive since joining them.

I don't fully agree with that. Take Cassano out of the equation and he doesn't look all that good.

That is true. There are better than him out there though.

I won't completely write him off, but he seems like the typical Italian centre forvet to me. Relies on goal poaching and a few headers inside the box (and he is not exceptional at that, just good) and not very good in situations outside the box (not helpful in build up play, frustrating to watch when they flop around the place looking for a foul).

@ Curr's response to my post - You could say that about Samp in general tho. Pazzini would surely be a gamble because it might just be Cassano that is making him look good but I doubt that very much.

Oh yeah, that's a real winner. I'm sure Diego will love being deployed far away from his danger areas, having to come even more deep to receive the ball than now.

thats just a guess really, but lets say we get rossi 25ml,rafinha 10-12, ranocchia 8-10?, criscito 7? thats about 52 lets say we keep candreva maybe 60ml, we spent like 50 on two players last year surely we can afford 60 for all those players no? plus the sales of other players it could go down to 50? and id say we have a pretty complete squad.

we would only get a striker if one of iaquinta or amauri leaves, so i doubt rossi is in the picture but who knows, if it were out of rossi or pazzini id take rossi, although i think he is a bit overrated.

He's good with or without Cassano, even with fiorentina he was pretty good. He just wasn't given a chance to be regular there.

Same with Giovinco in our case, if one day he moved out of the club and find success in some other club would you say he was a crap in Juve but now he's showing that he's a great talent ?!

I don't think we need Rossi. What will need is a coach who has a reasonable sense in football and give Giovinco a chance

So you can save 25 from your budget and (35M - players sell) is affordable.
