I get the point to a degree, Cassano is exceptional creative player, but all this talk of Cassano making who Pazzini is by serving him for hi's goal makes it sound like there is no other creative player elsewhere who would do so for Pazzini (and like anyone would scored these numbers). Like he is forever doomed if he parts with Cassano and cant find service elsewhere.

Reports here suggest Dejan Lovren is close to signing for Lyon, from Dinamo Zagreb, for a mere sum of 8.5 mil €. 20 years old defender with incredible potential, I believe he'll be a lot better than Corluka. It's a shame we're not even linked to these youngsters which are wanted by half of Europe. We could have got him and another quality defender instead of Melo.

Melo is suffering from confidence problems, that much is obvious. His absolutely horrid performance yesterday has no other explanation. You can't go from being one of the best midfielders in the Serie A(last season) to being a completely mediocre player overnight.
