Diego spent three very successful years in Germany with Bremen where 21-year-old Ozil was his chief understudy.
Ozil is arguably one of the brightest talents in European football and looks set to light up the World Cup in South Africa next summer as part of a talented Germany team.
He has reveled in Diego's absence this year, inspiring Bremen to second place in the Bundesliga behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
Speaking to German tabloid newspaper Bild, Diego said: “One day I would like to play again with Mesut Ozil.
“Mesut is showing all of his potential. If he continues to play like this, Europe's big clubs will here about it and sign him.
“I hope that I will be able to play with him in the future. There has always been a good understanding between us.
“We had a good time. It would be wonderful to find ourselves back together again.”
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have other priorities like finding a right-back, but Alessio Secco, the club's director of sport, is rumoured to be preparing a bid for him some time in the summer. [/FONT]
