wtf, you dont get dutch league live??
Hehe, nope, I don't! We have to pay for certain sports packages / broadcasters, and I've made the decision to stick with the one showing La Liga/Serie A/EPL/Bundesliga and to lesser extend Ligue1/Superliga and games like the Old Firm.

Getting our games live would cost quite a bit, and it's only 1 league, so no whole package, so fuck that!

On topic: I'd take Gago on a loan, especially if you look at the alternatives that we're being linked with.

Gago is better and more talented than Ledesma. Guarente is the same age as Gago and has been pretty good for Atlanta this season, but I still think the latter is the better player despite his poor play at Real. The change in scenery would do him good along with the change in teammates, and placing him up next to Sissoko would provide him with good defensive cover.

That's basically how I feel, but I decided to go for the easy way out. I simply don't understand why people are so against him, even though his form hasn't been great at Madrid.

The alternatives are mediocrity in person, the lot of them.

Still at the time Ronaldo wasn't even close to what he is now. Ferguson learned him how to be a team player and use all his fancy footwork. IMO Ferguson made a player of him.

Yes, but that wasn't my point...

Ronaldo was far from great player when he joined ManU, his game was all about constant dribbles until he looses the ball or dive. Diving is still there but he became more team player, ofcourse after season spent on the bench. And I think that Ferguson played a big part in his maturing as a player, still we will never know what could happend if he joined us.

I hate Cambiasso effect excuse though, even if I agree we should try to get him.

Our transfer policy shouldn't be 'hunting shit players from Spain so they could become new Cambiasso in Italy'. That's what mid-table clubs to, which we are not...yet.

I beg to differ, a great club could get a mediocre or shity player and mould him into world class. We done it before with Edgard Davids.

Another great example is Henry, was shity with us, world class for Arsenal. I agree that our transfer policy shouldn't be like that. But once in a great while is okay, especially if we could get a player on a free loan like Gago.
