He is a pretty awful defender.

I guess Barca saw potential in him, but he doesn't seem to be developing.

They paid way over the odds for him.

Yeah, they definitely did pay way over the odds for him. I couldn't believe it when I saw it in the news but aahhh I guess thats just the way football is going.

Any half decent player is 'worth' 20m nowadays.

Yup.

And, mysteriously, Man City and Real Madrid are 'interested' in 90% of them which makes it virtually impossible to sign a worthwhile player for less than 15m at the moment.

Krasic is a prime example of how awkward Man City being involved makes negotiations with a club.

Tell me about it.

It's so frustrating, especially when they don't even try to negotiate for the best price possible. It's ruining the game.

But what can you do? Money talks.. I'm just glad not all players are willing to run off with the highest bidder. Man City. I can completely understand if a player wants to go to Real Madrid because at least it's a prestigious club, but their overspending is still atrocious.

I've been obsessed with Poldolski since the first Germany game. After that he wasn't nearly as good, but I still watch every Germany game watching mainly his play.
If he came to Juve, I would think he would have good play and continue to get better as he shows glimpses of brilliance and could learn consistency. He would not be a bad squad member in my opinion.
