IMO we have been wasting a lot of the youngsters. No:1 Gio, then Ariaudo, Marrone, Iago, Rossi, Daud. Except Marchisio none of these have been given proper opportunity to prove themselves or have been loaned out to useless clubs
These players have not been totally wasted yet. There is still time to give them a chance to prove themselves. Let's just hope Ciro or whoever will be in charge in these upcoming months will actually give these youngsters a chance to play.

People really need to stop mistaking the Primavera for Serie A. Flashy and young names, you just don't throw them in there because they looked ok (not dominating or anything) in pre season. Some people here are too naive and fickle.

And rightfully so.

If anybody knows our primavera it's Ferrara's assistant Maddaloni.
And we still don't see any type of integration of our youth in the first team.:sergio:

Esposito position??
Right winger as well.

But Rossi, Esposito, and Immobile have really been impressive. You just have to give them a shot in the first team.

Thing is, we're limited to one formation now, because Camo's absence. I don't see why we couldn't try Rossi on that right flank for half an hour. It's got nothing to do with overrating them and throwing them all in replacing anyone, but simply giving them a shot when in trouble due to injuries.

We shouldn't just replace our first team players with these youngsters, just because they're young, but what's the point in having a youth team when you never use it for the first team?

Definitely they should not be thrown right into first team action. But they should be given some useful experience. Iago's loan has been a completely useless. Daud was loaned to some sere b side. Take Barcelonas case were youngsters like Pique, Pedro, Busquets who have turned out to first team material after they had been given proper playing time.

Rossi barely played last season due to heavy injury problems. Not ready yet.Esposito blows hot and cold, plus I've been told that he's a feisty little character.Well, and Immobile already got a few shots.

Blah @ Rossi eversince that game in the TIM Cup against Inter where he dribbled past Maicon, and nutmegged him a couple of times he's dissappeared. Where as, even though I haven't really been following him at Crotone I prefer Daud he was brilliant in the Viareggio Cup last year I hope he's getting some experience.
