That sucks imo.. We want to play with wingers and playing with Pepe and Palladino is a joke.. a big club like us should aim for players like Robben and Hazard when playing with wingers.. Okay, we might not be on top at the moment. but we should atleast get players like Vargas and Sanchez on the wings.!
wingers are still in question. Anything can happen.

I see that it is a decent team but I am sure we will have no chance of winning the title with this team. and we have to ask ourselves what our ambitions are. If we aspire to the title we must be more ambitious. Thats what I would like to tell the higher ups at the club. You have to spend inorder to get some level of success. Even if it is scary to spend money when money is tight. Risks pays off.
from an objective point of view we have to look at it and say ok the scudetto may be a little far fetched but we need to get ourselves back on track and work towards getting ourselves back in the CL i think some of us are setting ourselves too high standards already for next season. If you ask me, i think Roma will benefit the most and will have a fairly decent chance on winning the league, ofcourse that depends on who inter hire for their next manager, but certainly with the managerial merrygo round that is happening atm, Roma will be looking to build upon last seasons performance.

I agree with your thoughts that Roma will have a good shot (assuming no injuries and they can manage to compete on 2 fronts in the CL and Serie A) But Inter are favorites and it is our obligation to challange for the title and not let them break record after record. And if we ever plan on winning the title we need to eventually spend money and buy marqee players. So it is better to buy them now and build now then gradually build and hope we can make the step up over time (like what we have been doing since we came from serie B) ...

We are not a club that can grow slowly we need to get back to being a giant because the longer we let it slide the harder it is to come back. Anyway Good talking to u. I have to go study for a Physiology exam

You can say what you want about Moggi, but he knew how to get the players he wanted at all costs and to surprise us with last minute transfers.

Who can forget the Emerson I'm-depressed-and-maybe-I'll-retire-unless-yous-sell-me-to-Juve-then-I'll-be-okay-again saga, the surprise Zlatan transfer, Vieira, Canna for CArini, etc.

the zlatan deal had been agreed upon as early as May 2004 when the monaco GP was on and it was more or less done there and then
