Most of the fans love to hear that Ale is still in the coach's plans and he's still very important. Del Neri gives them what they want to hear.
In reality he will play the one who will, according to him, be better for the team, be it Diego, Del Piero or anyone else.

Apart from Buffon and Chiellini, right now nobody's place is secure.
I truly hope so. :xfinger:

TMW : Barcelona very close to ozil.

Where others don't stop talking about the transfer market, Barcelona directors are working behind the scences without making noise.

Juve enter race for Kolarov
Friday 23 July, 2010
Juventus will contact Lazio about the prospect of signing the apparently Manchester City-bound Aleksandar Kolarov, according to Tuttosport.

Earlier this week, Juventus Coach Gigi Del Neri claimed that he is still in need of a left-back ahead of next season.

Kolarov is the Bianconeri's first choice even though negotiations with Manchester City are already at an advanced stage.

The Serbia international didn't attend Lazio's pre-season medical testing this week, leading to speculation that his departure is imminent.

There were reports that City had agreed an £18m fee for Kolarov and that the only thing missing was his signature on the contract.

Lazio had also lined up Parma left-back Luca Antonelli as his replacement.

However, Tuttosport understands Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta will make contact with Lazio President Claudio Lotito in the next few hours.

Lotito is quoted in this morning's Tuttosport as saying: “If Juventus are interested and present an adequate offer anything can still happen. Everyone has a price.”

Kolarov has also reportedly expressed his desire to Juventus in private.

Lotito has a reputation for being a tough negotiator and there is a sense that he could be using Juventus' interest as a stalking horse to get City to pay more for Kolarov.

Juventus aren't able to compete with City financially, so they are more likely to offer a lump sum with a player in exchange, the favourite being Sebastian Giovinco.

Kolarov 18M
Ozil 15M
Forlan 20M
Total 53M

Iaquinta 10M Tottenham or Atl Madrid
Tiago around 10M Atl Madrid (I heard of interest from Barca too)
Grosso Atl Madrid 3M
Grygera Ajax 3M
Giovinco Lazio 10M (I hate this transfer but he isn`t being used here anyway)
Total 36M

Did we sell Almiron or is he still ours?

53-36=17M

Krasic could come instead of Ozil for about the same price (18M should do it...)

By the way who want Amauri?
and What about Diarra from Real I heard we were linked with him but then it all got quiet

Use Giovinco and pay them. Best transfer that would be.

But when we wake up, we say it's unlikely to happen.
Selling Seba is stupid. Loan him out or sell 50% of his contract.

Why give up somebody who's obviously more talented before seeing what he can do on a regular basis? What if he goes to Lazio and fulfills that potential we all know he has, then we would feel stupid for making a deal like this.

It's not stupid, he proved nothing here. He was ignored by 5 different coaches who know more than we do.

And if he is that good, he'll end up in Arsenal or Manchester, not Bari and Parma.
