Eduardo who, from Arsenal? He's finished after that injury.
...thus the move to Shaktar.
Meh. I don't see the point in signing Džeko when you'd sacrifice Diego and hence rule out getting Krasić. I'd much rather buy Eduardo, Krasić, and then a great left-back. Another season with Grosso and De Ceglie? Thanks, but no thanks.

Would you guys sacrifice Diego for Oezil?
Remember this? Tuttosport and Bild, though.

I wouldn't.

Why do we offer so much for Dzeko? He is a fantastic player and is in a position we need quality at, but we could leave him alone and strengthen more than just one position. Plus we wouldn't give up Diego (if there is any truth in these rumours).
Our defense still needs work (a lot imo) and a LB should be first on our list.

With offering for Dzeko, we should offer cash + a player in that same position. Looking at the lack of quality we have in that position we would mainly have to use cash, which would almost defeat the purpose.

It's impossible to happen...

I wouldn't.

I just think that Oezil is more flexible and can be more useful to Del Neri's plans...

Shakhtar Donetsk are close to Eduardo for £6m, and we want to offer 15m + Diego for Edin. :frown:
Dont worry about it, it's just Tuttosport's bullshit. Diego will stay and if Marotta and Del Neri have a brains, Juve will buy winger who would support Diego.

yeah but del neri's a douche for having essentially only one plan! 4-4-2/4-4-1-1

no felxibility which is a drastic chnage from the last 2 people we had picking the starting players who showed too much felxibility with their formations.

Sorry, excuse my rant. I just was reading in the Dzeko thread.

Ozil is a fantastic playmaker, but isn't he less of a scoring threat than Diego? In Delneri's plans, wouldn't Diego make more sense?
I guess they are equal but I believe that Oezil is superior in dictating the play from midfield...

Just my 2 cents...

For Dzeko's price we can go for 2 Quality wingers and a Quality LB. We should get a CM and a CB while we are at it as well. Melo and Marchiso, with Poulsen and Sisosko offers no creativity or passing game in that CM.

Does that player Michael Johnson still play for city. I know Mark Hughes dropped him but he was a great player under Sven. I would not mind a player like that at Juve. I remember people said he was the next Gerrard.

Both him and Ireland should be playing regularly.
Johnson has been injured almost constantly for about two years.

I agree with your reasoning, but not on the ability of Eduardo, because he really isn't the same player from before his injury, seems Arsenal have given up on him now.
