I said 'only' if we play 4-2-3-1, we'll need another AM for rotation and Camo ain't getting any younger and as we know he can be very injury prone.

Gio - Diego - van der Vaart / Camo

Melo - Sissoko

we got daud, iago
we need a goal machine, a CB, and RB
And then if we are having so much money left lets think abt a DP replacement in Cassano, Jovetic etc.

VDV more of a CM? He can play there and did a bit in Holland, but dude is an AM, and more of a goalscoring type to the point he was a forward in Hamburg.

Why would be buy Van der Vaart? I like him and all but it's not what we need. Hell, we can't even find a place for Giovinco.
VDV would fit in with Sissoko and Melo and he would add creativity and passing into our stagnant 3 man midfield, it would also allow Diego to remain further upfield instead of having to drop deep to try and create something

The thing which annoys me is that people essentially assume Van der Vaart and Sneijder are pretty much the same because they both play AM. They couldn't be more wrong, Sneijder is more versatile as he is naturally double footed so he can play either wing and his vision can make him an more than adequate CM.
Van der Vaart on the other hand is much more of a roaming type of player with great speed, skill and flair. Osman gets it right when he says he is more of a forward, although I think his best positions are exlusively AM/AML

This is an overview of the team and the changes to be made IMO
Buffon(Manninger)-This seems to be our strongest department. No reinforcements in the coming future
Zebina(Grygera)-Weakest spot of the team. We need a fit, young, talented player ASAP.
Canna(Legro)-Canna has been very impressive. Legro is not consistent. We'll be needing a young CB by next season atleast.
Chiellini(Ariaudo)-This is a strong section of the eam. Ariaudo should be given more time.
Grosso(Molinaro)-Grosso is fitting into the team. As for the jew we shud get rid of him and get a young talented player for the future.
Momo(Marchisio)-No changes
Melo(Poulsen)-Poulsen IMO is a player with a great calibre. If he starts playing like he does in their NT hell give Melo a run for the starting spot.
Camo-He's the world's best when on form but his temper and fitness has not been helping us lately.
Diego-
Gio-Please give him more playing time
Amauri(Trez/IQ)-Amauri has started scoring and we can hope he continues it. I am totally against selling Trez. IQ is nothing but quality bench material. If Amauri doesnt find his form, we should go for a Wrold class CF.
Talkin about replacements in the 3 players behind the strikers IMO when we have Daud and Iago, I dont think we should invest in that section when we have a limited budget and we have other urgent reinforcements to make.
Plus with the other talented players like Marrone, Ekdal we dont need any more players in the midfield.
About Caceres and DC, DC can be useful on the left side of the midfield and Caceres has to be given more time to prove himself.
Sali is a utility player but highly unavailible. Sell Tiago, Molinaro FFS.
And about DP he is our most influential player and he is a definite starer. But he should be given more rest and not overused.

I've really started to like Miralem Pjanić from OL a lot, great technique for a 19 year old, he is going to be big.
And if we're talking 4-2-3-1 he can slot onto either of the wings very nicely.

I've been a big admirer of the player ever since his Metz days. I will not forget his performance against Lyon in the coupe de france 3 years ago. He ripped Lyon a new one in that game, absolutely magical player.

He is capable of playing on either wing, as that is where he used to play for Metz. But his strongest position is playing as an attacking mid. He has been playing as a attack minded CM this season for Lyon and has been one of their best players this season. Creative player, that has an eye for a pass, good close ball control and a decent dribbler.

Would be a fine signing indeed for Juve(or any big team for that matter)
