First of all David Villa doesn't have an ounce of the logevity that Del Piero has or the character. Lemme ask you a simple question would rather buy
A a player for 15m that in 5 years is worth 25m
B a player for 40m that in 5 years is worth 1m
Marcus Berg is PURE class
How about tomas fucking vermaelen or Cesc Fabgregas or Gerard Pique, hmmm???
What about them, they were bought young and are either as good as the players you listed or will be in 18months time.

Berg is pure quality, I didn't say he's better than Villa atm, but he'll be very very good. Age does matter, it matters a lot. Maybe you should take a look at AC Milan and tell me age doesn't matter.
