Greatest striker of all time? Debatable, highly debatable.

He wasn't even the greatest player of his generation; that honor belongs to Zidane.

Ronaldo and Del Piero were on a par in 1998-1999 season. In any case, DP is a seonda punta, whereas Ronaldo is more of an out and out striker, so comparing them is somewhat difficult.

At his best he's the greatest i ever watched, wouldn't know much about greatest of all time though. Zidane was indeed the best of his generation, but if it weren't for his injuries Ronaldo would probably have given Zizou a run for his money for that title.

@lion: :lol:

@everyone else: roy lassiter was the best striker of all time. Chew on that....

@juventus board: if ronaldo is free, bring him. He should still have a european passport, let's use it.

@ the future: ronaldo out for 9 months after a "misplaced" molinaro cross hits his knee.

@the further down the road future: ronaldo still scores more goals than amauri as he still has not scored since the spring of 2009. Its now 2011. :sergio:

Yet the board and coach publicly claim to have complete faith in him and he starts every game. He sets the serie A record for hitting the goalposts.

Fred, has Cissokho played all the games injury free so far this season?
Yes he has. He missed just one game, but it wasn't due to injury. Puel just preferred Grosso for tactical reasons. There has been nothing wrong with him, on the complete contrary, he always plays the full 90.

Is there any link with Odemwingie or just wishful thinking?
No, no. I've always wanted Odemwingie for a while now..
