Nah, the defence has been the main problem since he took over, that and CM but we needed at least 2 new defenders when he took over, we still do.

Until a new CB and Rb come in he's two steps short of redemption

He needs to build a great team to be a great buyer, without a CB and Rb we wont be top 5 in Europe,

The mercato this summer was very good, near excellent, but Im not going to clear him until i see whats next, if its a Cb and a Rb which we need, then all is forgiven, its its another Almiron and Poulsen then he's back to the bad books

Mexes is under-rated and I think he'd shine next to Chiellini here, I'd welcome him with my arms open. It's his last year on his contract so his price would be lower. Milan is also after him so I guess we have a good chance to get either Mexes or Kjaer.

Ranieri is crazy, he's doing some awful things at Roma and he will ruin some of their best players because some unknown or stupid reasons.

Mexes could revive his career with us. His case reminds me a bit of Nesta's last months with Lazio where he looked unmotivated and sloppy, with his atrocious derby-performance summing it up.

Mexes is no Nesta, but a change of environment would do him good.

Some awful things? Burdisso and Juan were perfect and Roma's results couldn't have been better.
