With these pretty good moves Secco is making and the luck he is having, he should try for Srna. Wishful thinking, I know..but the guy is a machine at right back for shakhtar.

After Melo, we're close to signing a young U-21/20 player to add depth the the squad. We already have a good player at that position.

For the Primavera, we're looking at Frosinone's Austrian mid, Robert Gucher.

Mark, is there a chance that the Melo deal might not happen?
I don't think so. You think it might?

I think they're waiting for the right time to announce it. Maybe after Diego's presentation or after Marchionni signs with Fiorentina if it's not already done.

I'm a bit scared something might happen.

That pressure from the fans that they won't buy season tickets might be a big obstacle, don't you think? We stopped Stankovic from coming, can't they stop melo from leaving?

I guess it's possible but for our sake let's hope everything as been signed already and they're just waiting for the right time to announce it. I'm pretty sure it's done.

Let's hope so. If, and when he is officially presented as our newest acquisition we can finally begin to focus on our biggest problem, the DEFENSE!

Any news regarding potential RB's and LB's linked with Juve? Is there any solid base or foundation to the Santacroce rumors, or are they just that, rumors?

Oh yeah, and what is up with Calciomercato.com? I can't seem to access the site. They keep displaying a message which I believe means they are renovating or renewing the website, and will be back soon. Any idea when?

For 25 million dollars they could add a couple great young players. For 25 million dollars I would tell the fans to be quiet. It is one thing to be upset to lost a good player, its another thing to lose a player to a rival. Not sure which one they are upset about but that is the history of their club. Sell players and they are making a very pretty penny out of this. Don't they want to build a new stadium? 25m dollars would help that cause.

They should present Melo and Diego together. What an exciting display that would be!
