Did we watch the same game? I saw the full Colombia-Argie game, Zuniga was normal ordinary performance, nothing special. How little were you expecting to be this impressed?
do u think this work rate and technique are ordinary and he played against one of the best players in the world and he looked so confidence with the ball specially when he dribbles he was absloutley great.... him vargas and zapata were great... but the way he was trackin' back to the defense was tireless and painful for the other players..... he likes to cut down didn't see him cross a lot but the whole team system was about getting from the inside.... realy like him he is too good to play for siena.....

Jonas Gutierrez? Because that's who he was up against.

That he would be useful I agree, that he has good qualities I agree, since I have seen him enough to notice that (though his defensive side is average), but in THIS game, he wasnt anything more then ok. If anyone could be said to have stood out, it was Radamael Falcao Garcia.

Colombia in general though were mainly thugs that were frustrated and kicking everyone in sight, too bad for Messi he was mostly the one in sight.

Just imagine if instead of Molinero and Grygera we had Santon and Maicon. We would be rediculous.

Now I know it is impossible but if we did have 2 really good fullbacks our team would be at another level...
I wish our board could see that as well, but they are missing the point in the past 3 years...
i hope that Ciro will see that and he will have the authority to demand that, but i am starting to doubt that i see us pushing forward for more midfielder and offensive backups...

While I do want D'Agostino. I want fullbacks too. Hopefully the rumour about Maxwell is true!

(that kinda rhymes)

I know that I've been posting plenty of lineups, but this squad seems more and more likely. Would also have two at every position:

Buffon/Manninger

Criscito/Molinaro
Chiellini/Mellberg
Cannavaro/Legrottaglie
New/Grygera

Marchisio/Tiago
D'Agostino/Zanetti
Sissoko/Poulsen

Diego/Camoranesi
Del Piero/Giovinco
Amauri/Iaquinta

+ Chimenti, Brazzo and DC

I believe it will be more like this in your line-up: Camoranesi instead of Tiago, Giovinco instead of Camoranesi and new attacker instead of Giovinco.

The RB remains the unknown. I have no idea if we'll buy a new RB or we'll keep Grygera and Zebina.
