Jérémy Mathieu's contract expires in the summer, any good, Fred?
Has been off form for two years, too much of a risk and was never a good defender anyway. He was always brilliant going forward, and i personally expected him to improve his defensive side and turn out to be a decent fullback, but he's been going backwards for two years.

Cheikh Mbengue the other leftback from Toulouse is a better option. 19 year old promising fullback, he's been brilliant whenever filling in for Jeremy, and he looks like he's got the potential to turn into a quality fullback.

Indeed they will have a lot of depth and quality in that deparment once they are all fit, so it wouldn't be a big loss for them if they sold Marquez

actually it will, Rafa adds a lot of quality and depth to their backline...a lot of times Guardiola has played Puyol at LB to accommodate a Marquez - Piquet CB partnership

Shopping in Greece? Tiago Replacemnt? :p Collecting brazilians to make Diego happy? ;) What you think, please discuss.
greek sports sites say that we are ready to offer them either Poulsen or Tiago for Dudu...he aint bad at all....for a Greek club though...i ve seen him about 20-25 times this season...he is a DM-MC kinda like Zanetti(good passing game and nice long range shots)...but definitely not JUve material...he is good for a mid-table club...but..hm..we got Secco too.:shifty:

The reason why Puyol is often play as a LB is bc they don't really have a suitable replacement for Abidal.

sometimes it was because his LBs abidal and the brazilian guy-forgot his name- have been injured
barca have pique, puyol, milito, caceres and marquez for CBs so its possible for him or some1 else to leave
