Don't think Genoa will sell the whole of Acquafresca. I read on a Genoa forum that they wants to exchange half of Acqua for De Silvestri. Acqua, himself, on the other hand, wants to get playing time and seems that Ballardini is an admirer of him. So he will only go to Lazio if Ballardini becomes the coach. Something like that and it's today's news.

Milan close in on Cissokho
Milan have found the heir to Paolo Maldini and offered to quadruple the wages of Porto's Aly Cissokho.

The full-back was picked by new Coach Leonardo to freshen up the Rossoneri defence, above all in terms of putting more attacking verve down the flanks.

It's reported Leonardo flew to Portugal for a meeting with Cissokho, who has been one of the revelations of Porto this season.

The French youngster will turn 22 later this year and his price-tag has been set at around £11m.

Why did I have to say anything? Why Dossena, Grosso etc? Cissokho for the win, gottdamnit.
If I was Secco I would steal him from Milan even if it means not signing D'Agosinto. Maybe we could exchange Tiago as part of the deal. If not I would pay cash.

Cuz he would be a fantastic player for us for a very long time and seeing how we are losing out on Criscito it seems it would be smart. Cissokho is great at attacking and strong in defence.

Secco: Juve want Italy duo
Sunday 14 June, 2009
Alessio Secco confirms that Juventus are interested in signing Italian internationals Andrea Dossena and Fabio Grosso.

The Bianconeri have already brought in Diego from Werder Bremen and free agent Fabio Cannavaro, but this is just the beginning of their transfer campaign.

“Dossena and Grosso? I can only say that these are not names far from the reality of our wish-list,” the director of sport told Spazio Radio.

Both players are currently in South Africa for the Confederations Cup and have hinted at a desire to return to Serie A from Liverpool and Lyon respectively.

Secco also gave a round-up of the other irons in the fire for Juventus this summer.

“Right now we are waiting for Genoa’s decision on [Domenico] Criscito, as they have until June 25 to take up their option.

“We did look at [Stuttgart defender Serdar] Tasci two months ago, but since securing Cannavaro he is no longer a player that interests us. Besides, he won’t be a free agent.”

In order for these new players to come in, some of the Juve squad must be released to make way.

“Juventus don’t want to send anyone away, but [Marco] Marchionni could be at a disadvantage with the new diamond midfield system. Therefore if we find a better solution then he will leave.”

David Trezeguet, Jonathan Zebina, Tiago Mendes and Christian Poulsen are also rumoured to be on the market.

We are being linked with Motta Dossena Grosso Criscito D`Agostino and Rossi (while we still have Buffon Chiellini Cannavaro Camoranesi (half Italian) Marchisio DP Iaquinta and a backup Giovinco) Diego and Sissoko could be our only non Italian players in our lineup
