I see Asamoah is the flavour of the month...going from David Silva/Ribery to Asamoah...very Secco-esque
Meh knee-jerk reaction. No one is saying Asamoah as the big signing, far from it, but after the top signings, getting him as a squad player would be useful, we are likely to get rid of Tiago/Poulsen or the injury prone ageing Zanetti. Wont sign a top player for the CMs, so a promising dynamic young midfielder wouldnt take much and is doable.

I wouldnt mind D'Agostino too if we get rid of most of our CMs barring Marchisio and Momo. Would give competent fluidity to our game.

Lets be honest here: we hate youngsters. Whether it be the management, the manager, even some fans, we cannot stand to take a chance on them. That's why we loan them out, share the risk of holding their contract with other clubs through co-owns, and cannot even field a 22 year-old because he's too "risky".

Lets face it, youngsters are footballing terrorists in our eyes and we are in theirs.

What more do you want? Our most trusted defensive players are still young Chiellini and Molinaro, despite serious injuries De Ceglie and Marchisio get their starts and chances, even Ariaudo and Ekdal got 3 games (all from the bench for swede). Giovinco was held on the bench for long parts of season, but you didn't really expected we will change our system or consistently bench our star players for youngster who plays his first serious season for club senior team? Of course i would've loved if Giovinco could start 24-25 games like Nedved or Del Piero, but his time will come. We ain't no Arsenal, but definetly not grave-yard of youngsters.

Arnautovic(the new Ibra:howler:) and Mesto are today's names.

I rate Mesto and he would be an upgrade to Grygera/Zebina IMO.Arnautovic seems talented but then again I just have seen Youtube videos of him.

IMO the ideal replacement for Nedved would have been Ribery....similar skill levels, full of running, eye for the killer pass.good shooting and work ethic, plus he's French so the Gallic midfirld maestro theme(a la Platini n Zizzou goes on..BUT if there's a bidding war for him in the summer(like i suspect there'll be)we do not stand a chance
In that case, the player we should be looking at is Luka Modric at Tottenham Hotspurs...he's got similar xteristics n should'nt cost as much as Ribery...plus he can also play in the hole or out wide

Diego, Kwadwo Asamoah, Criscito, Cannavaro and a RB and call it a summer. I would be happy.

I am beginning to think a Asamoah-Sissoko-Marchisio midfield would be indestructible. Young, tough, hardworking, fast, 3 box-to-box hardworking midfielders to destroy. I love it.
yeah...but in a season where they had 2 be away for 2-3 months for the African cup of nations, would'nt we be basically f*****?

Hahaha, Arnautovic started playing football in my district. We used to laugh at him, when he was younger, because he was so shy. I couldn't believe when I heard, that he will go to the Netherlands.

I don't think, he has, what it takes to play at a high level. Character issues and selfishnes is what I don't like about his game.

Thats not true...
Keep saying that and one day we'll be convinced but until then every article about Juventus you can analyze it to bash the board.

A few days ago I replied to two posts of yours. You looked like you spent energy of thirteen building workers only to bash the board. Search and find them and you'll see what I mean.

Although our transfer history and our boards previous actions/decision/mistakes, justify my suspicion levels...
That's what I call over analysis. UNNECESSARY
