People are getting ridiculously excited in the Aguero thread, I think not quoting sources is the least of our problems. Just end all the 'joke'-reports, made up shit, just to start some sort of fight or discussion.

I'm not saying people shouldn't source most of the stuff, like the famous guru onelines, posted in bold, but like Red said, a lot of the time it's obvious where stuff is taken from.

I agree that sources should be known when somebody posts some news. That's basically why the Agüero thread was closed or else 4-5 members would of been warned. Put up a link/say where you saw it/which guru said what so people can make a assumption if the news is true or not. Remember people, it's all info from the web reported here so don't believe the "real" guru stuff from tuZ. Nico, CAPITANO, Melo, Dusan, me...all get the news on the web and report it here so members can know what's going on or not with Juve's mercato.

But in the Agüero thread people write a lot of "statements"without a link to the source, and then we have 10 pages with bitching or fapping. Can't see how that's a service.
There are the half dozen or so people who regularly post stuff and we can generally safely assume that, while the news may well be wrong, they haven't just made it up.

They are the ones providing a service.

Good topic

Hence, i think the transfer rumours topic should be completely remade and only information and its source should be posted.
then post it in the players transfer topic.

like this, it will become very handy to check in on the latets news, and discuss it elsewere so you dont have to navigate 50 pages of fapping to find the article.

Sourcing is very importand, and actually, only quoted sources should be taken seriously. "according to tuttosport" is why tuttosport sells papers, it holds nothing of value.
Quoted sources dont mean its actually real, could still be a smokescreen, or player/club trying to up the price (zamp w pastore, udinese and agent w inler), but its nevertheless real.

I dont mind "guru's", but we should call them reporters, cause they actually copy paste from their sources.
but, they should at least source their stuff, and not from retarded sides

Guru's aren't sources, (except you of course). Guys posting headlines prosed in question form doesn't count. Though Nick does actually list his source.
