having been into watches for a few years now, i've noticed some really good brands, swiss made which are really good value for money and cheap compared to the equivalents, tissot, maurice lacroix, frederique constant, dreyfuss & co and longines

I'm really a novice when it comes to watches/fine watches. Tissot is my No.1 in terms of value for money, most bang for the buck ... Though their range are mostly Quartz. Hamiliton is another one.

What do u think of brands like Debaufre, Zodiac ... Il Re?

yep, i had a tissot prs200, lovey watch and served me very well, i also had a prc200 which was very nice as well, very well made, good quality and great value

hamilton are a great brand as well imo, they have a good history behind them

in terms of debaufre and zodiac i have only ever seen them on the internet, never seen them in the flesh, but they seem to be good quality watches, i've learnt that a watch doesn't have to be expensive to be nice, i've had omega's and rolex's which have cost a lot, while the watches themselves were nothing special, i would recommend seeing a watch in the flesh before buying it though

The PRC200 I heard, is their top seller. The watch has got a really wonderful dial. According to reliable sources, an automatic version is coming out soon ...

And yeap abt the 2nd point, I have my Casio on more than 50% of the time, they are so very tough ...
And I'm looking into adding an analog Timex ...

Nice meeting u, Il Re
