Do Inter fans really think they can win the scudetto with Juve, Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina not in the Serie A? I am sure they will find away to finish second or third. :D
As many have said, it appears that Moggi has some dirty work done. But from the evidence we have on hand (published taps) there is no direct match fixing as in the Milan/Udinese case. I am surprised that Udinese did not get charged. In 04-05 they fixed their match (the wiretap prooved it so clear) with Milan to get to the CL where Milan will get the services of Janckolovisky. Taps before and after the match were very clear..
From taps I read for Moggi his straight influences in choosing refs were in preseason friendly games.
Other firty work newspapers talked about, is his fight with paparesta and his swearing at officials and asking about future refs.
On the newspapers they were trying to say that Juve fixed a match against udinese but the funny thing is that the ref said it out and clear when they awarded a wrong penalty in favour of udinese and the ref knew it was not a penalty and they just got scared from udinese (not juventus) and did not call it off.
As my friends here said, Inter were also involved in infuelncing refs and knowing future refs even in the CL. So Inter are not an innocent child ;)

I am very worried about the trial.. Lets hope for the best...

Sadly, The Juve BOD didnt think so. They had to resort to "other methods" to win. How sad that your own management does not have any faith in your players. If they did, there would be no need for this scandal.
AHAHAHAHA!! yes and moratti does in his? o wait he's still awaiting on recoba to hit a consistant form

You should always be proud to be your own teams support: Roma are a good and fair side, but alas it might be fair to suggest that there is a significant number of their fans that I am terrified of, and disgusted by.

It is only a shame that the new wind of purification will have little or no effect on inherent racism in the Italian game. Yes, that would be something to cheer!

Oh indeed Roma and Inter are so clean, just go to any match on a Sunday and enjoy, that is if you are white.

Well I'd rather beat Albinoleffe fair and square than beat Milan via a 99th minute fake penalty. I hope you got the analogy...

A deserved win is more satisfying than a stolen win.

But the most satisfying feeling would be a fair win against a very strong opponent. Sadly, the "strong" opponents are "weak" when it comes to respecting the rules, what can we do ?
"beat Milan via a 99th minute fake penalty"
when did any team in the world ever did that????:faq1:

As an Inter fan you can be pleased on winning Albinoleffe teams only,
we wouldnt allow medium teams cheating on us and stop stand there and looking at them, we had to react, the correct thing would be just to report them from the begining, but we didnt since this is how the system goes in Italy(and in every other part of the world),
if you cant change the system, beat the system (but never do that without the proper support from tha bacK, cough* Berlu+Morra cough*)

"A deserved win is more satisfying than a stolen win."
then give us back the supercopa:pumpkin:

BTW why this... individual... got banned in the end??

Italian Minister calls for amnesty:tdown:

Alessandro Del Piero is on eof the players that would be affected if Juventus are relegating for alleged match-fixing

Italy's justice minister suggested an amnesty may be suitable for clubs named in an alleged match-fixing scandal so as not to punish players from the squad who have reached Sunday's World Cup final against France.

'The government cannot get involved in this issue,' Justice Minister Clemente Mastella told the Corriere della Sera newspaper on Friday.

'But I do think the majority of fans want an amnesty. As a fan, let me say this: is it fair that (Fabio) Cannavaro and (Alessandro) Del Piero and so many others should play in the third division after everything they have done?'

Cannavaro and Del Piero are two of several Italy players on the books of Juventus.

The Serie A champions face possible relegation to the third division for what a prosecutor says was the club's role in the scandal.

The club denies wrong-doing but one of their lawyers has suggested relegation to the second division might be apt punishment if Juventus are found guilty by a sports tribunal.

There have been several calls for an amnesty for Juventus and the other three clubs caught up in the scandal, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina, given the efforts of Italy's players at the World Cup in Germany.

But earlier this week Sports Minister Giovanna Melandri said the proposal was idiocy.

Too late buddy. Your lawyer has already said that relegation to B with points deduction would be a fair punsihment. That minister is just some disillusioned Juve fan getting caught up in the euphoria of the World Cup. Win or not for Italy, Monday it will be back to reality.
