A 'Plan Capello' for Juventus to loan players to Real Madrid

Fabio Capello has brought with him from Turin to Madrid an intriguing plan which could help both troubled Juventus and Real, his new club.

Always the realist, Capello's plan appeared to have been drafted not out of high-minded altruism but out of hard-headed self-interest.

Capello Tuesday bid farewell to troubled Juventus, and apparently mentioned his plan to the besieged Juve directors.

On Wednesday he flew to Madrid to negotiate a lucrative three year-deal with Real. On Thursday he was to be presented to the Madrid media.

Sports paper As said Thursday that under the plan, if Juventus end up being relegated to Serie B for their role in the Italian 'Moggigate' scandal, Juve will loan out some of their top players to Real until the club is back in Serie A.

Juventus would thus avoid having to pay their massive salaries at a time of low income. And Capello would be able to use the players, for at least one season, as part of his plan to rebuild Real - without the Madrid club having to pay any transfer fees.

The players in question are Juventus' brightest stars: Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro, Emerson, Patrick Vieira, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Trezeguet.

The actual negotations - now that Capello will be spending his time on the training ground and on Real's infamous pre-season tours - will be carried out by Franco Baldini, who has just been appointed as Real's technical secretary.

As called Capello's plan 'a wonderful opportunity for Real...and a lifeline to Juventus, given their circumstances.'

Initial reaction of the Juventus directors to the 'Plan Capello' was, apparently, lukewarm. However, the coach is hoping they will come round to the idea when the threat of relegation becomes reality.

Capello has refused to give details of the plan in public. All he would say early Thursday - a few hours before his presentation to the media - was: 'I hope that everything turns out well for Juventus. I'm very worried about the future of that club.'

Another player Capello is keen to bring to Madrid, in addition to the Juventus group mentioned above, is Kaka.

Kaka was the big name promised by Ramon Calderon - along with that of Capello, in his successful campaign for the Real presidency.

AC Milan, however, are furious about Real's illicit approaches to Kaka, and are threatening to report Calderon to UEFA.

'Plan Capello' has clearly generated much less enthusiasm in Milan than in Turin and Madrid.
its the best thing i heard concerning the scandal news,i hope this is really right.

Oh and this helps Juventus, right? It's not that Capello and Real gain anything from this? Apart from a league title and an inevitable CL victory that is.

It helps Juve because most of those players won't be staying anyway, so a loan is better than losing them.

But I can't see Real Madrid and their ego allowing that to happen. Multiple loans ? yeah right.

I don't know, I've seen them all year in a Juventus shirt... :D must be hard for you to support them cheating bastards now.... we, on the other hand, feel proud to see our heros succeed yet again. Champions we are :eyebrows: And our captain scored that beauty, the same captain who freekicked your doom in the san siro lol.
but that's the whole issue, which you don't seem to have grasped... you're provisional champions, for another coupl'a weeks until you are stripped of the last 2 scudetti! Del Piero's free kick against Inter didn't serve any purpose, because you guys faked the championship and it'll be scrubbed off. The next free kick DP takes in Italy will most probably be against a team like Catanzaro, Rimini or Ivrea. Your team tried to ruin the beautiful game, and for a few years you succeeded, but now you've been found out and you will take your rightful place in C1 or C2, possibly with a 15 point penalty, so you won't be bouncing up too soon.

I love how Juventini are trying to bring everyone down with them. Not only has there been no proof that we are directly involved but it wouldnt make sense considering we havent won anything in years. Either Moratti is too stupid and doesnt know how to cheat or he is way too smart to be caught.

By the way, no one will be crying if you get kicked out of Serie A. You are the shame of football, dont make it seem like the sun wont rise again if you are in C where you belong.
So you believe that Juventus, Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina were all in a system, yet Lazio and Fiorentina both managed to end up after Inter? Now that's odd. You also seem to believe that in the midst of this scandalous competition Inter are the one beakon of light and truth. And for your information, Inter may win the scudetto next year, but no Interista will ever have the courage to claim it.

well u wud have to be pretty damn ignorant to think that inter are the victims in the midst of all this, and had totally nothing to do with any of it.

Catanzaro are a tricky team by the way. They used to have Benito Carbone a couple of years ago, don't know if he's still on the team or not. :D

Well, if some of you guys here have the courage to claim that the last couple of scudetti were fully deserved amidst all of this...
