Yes, and Mr Moggi already had a hand in it but like quite a few others got away with it. It doesn't seem he's learned his lesson though, does it? So maybe this time we could actually, well, apply the law and punish him and all the culprits properly. Whether the sins will be expiated remains to be seen, but I really don't get how that would equal shooting ourselves in the foot?

Demoting Juventus, Milan, Lazio, and Fiorentina will have serious financial reprecussions on the league and the game as a whole.

But in any case my point is that "cleaning the game" isn't/should'nt be merely by punishment. The FIGC structure should be changed, the proccesses of the leauge tightened to ensure it to be more immune to manipulation, the culture should be rengineered i.e less emphasis on winning more emphasis sportsmanship....Calciopoli should trigger massive change in the country, I don't think I could even scratch the surface of how the game could be bettered especially because of my lack of knowledge about how the game is managed off the pitch...all I know is MASSIVE CHANGE IS DUE.

I disagree. Recovering quickly is not the most important thing. Most important thing is not to phuck the players who did nothing wrong. Taking away the titles from them is horrible and awful. I don't mind if the future is bleak as long as the past stays beautiful. If juve stays with it 29 titles, even in 20 years nobody will come close probably. Juve can bounce back after 5 bleak years, not the end of the world. But the great past shouldn't be touched at all !!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, what I find interesting is if everything is doomed already, why Juventus.com ignores everything so completely (well, it does talk about it a little but not much) and talks about other things like nothing happened. If Juve is demoted/stripped off titles, what will the site say... just interesting to think about.

and another thing : the charges of "affecting" matches only concern the matches vs udinese, bologna and lazio from 2004/2005. For these 3 pathetic matches, even if found guilty, juve needs to be stripped from two titles ??? wtf. if this happens I will ignore it.

Juventus is a winning team and they can get those 2 scudettis back, and this time they would be legal!.

Yes, the players did everything they could to win those 2 scudettis, but those horrible matches that we won with very "fishy" referral decitions definitely affected the scudetto battle directly.

So if we lost the scudettis, i would accept it. The ones who followed closely juve this last 2 campaigns really noticed this referral trend towards juve. Is not fair for our players to lose all that effort done.... but is not fair to ther teams who supposedly "played fair" for the scudetto and lost against us in the race either.


ah, and the past cannot stay beautifull, as those 2 scudettis are tainted with Moggi´s schemes....

The scudetti aren't tainted. The players Juve had would have won the titles with Moggi or without any influence from Moggi. They were the best players and they proved it on the pitch. This season it was obvious that Juve didn't benefit from anything - Juve hardly had any penalties etc. And last season too there wasn't anything signficant that disproves the fact that the players won and deserve the titles they won on the pitch.

Yes, talking with referes and wanting certain ones before several matches is gross misconduct but the titles were won by the players who scored 99% of the goals with no one's help (1 or 2 offsides maybe?) . They shouldn't pay for Moggi's stupidity.

As for Juve, it's such a big club with backing and support that it will return to Serie A anyhow no matter what happens even from below Serie D. Losing 2 titles is the worst thing for the players.

I would like to agree with you but we can never be sure of that. Milan was only a few points behind us after all.

Yes, but keep in mind in the end that there are only 3 disputed matches and all of them are in the 2004/2005 season. Hardly a real reason to punish the players for Moggi's wanting certain referees.... then again, Milan also has a disputed match or two, so one can't really argue that someone else deserved this scudetti.

Sure the team will stay in your heart, but actively supporting is out of the question for most 'foreign' juve fans.

Their titles they won represent something really great for them, the acheivement of their personal combined efforts. Stealing the scudetti from them is awful and unfair.
