Hrmmmmm.....

"Wait! Stop everything! I don't remember writing a check for bowling!"
"Uh, no sir, that's bowling."
"Oh, yes, that's very important."
"Remember that month we didn't do it?"
"Yes, that was unpleasant for all concerned. .....Wait! Stop everything! I don't remember writing a check for bowling!"

It's a bit long, but it never fails to make me laugh :)

The one were they start the "Pin Pals" bowling team, and they win the league in the end against the "Holy Rollers" cause Otto tips over a machine.

A good one.

I'll post a new one soon.

Since torkel seems to never post his quote, I'm gonna cut in with one of my own:

"Furious George! What have they done to your beautiful face!?
Smithers - this monkey is going to need most of your skin."

"Err.."

I know that Mr Burns says the first line but that's as far as I get :undecide:

In case anyone else solves it, here's another quote:

"Come one everybody! I've got an RV we can use! Flanders's!"

Ok, let me think of one....

"But then you would have had to ignore all of the Simpson DNA, and that would have been just plain nutty."

Ahah no no... I'll tell you to stop the confusion :)

It's in the 238th episode spectacular where they show the alternate ending where Smithers shot Mr Burns. It was a current-affairs type joke because it was pretty close to when OJ Simpson was let of the charges of killing his wife even though there was heaps of his DNA at the crime scene.

It's time to kickstart this thread again.

We'll start with a not to hard oldie:
Marge: "Homer, I don't like you telling personal secrets in your class."
Homer: "Marge, I didn't tell em' personal stuff."
Marge: "Today at the Kwik-E-Mart everybody knew I dyed my hair!"
Homer: "Oh, you mean about you."

Where's it from fellas?

EDIT: Horrible typo.
Quick recap of the rules: You cannot use the internet or other cheating stuff while looking for the quotes, but you may ask for clues. The person who gets it right comes up with another quote, and may use sources the get the quote exact. Go!

wtf! I completely missed this thread!!!

Easy...the one where Homer gets called slow at poker night, and he becomes a teacher.

Bart: Thanks to television, I can't remember what happened eight minutes ago.
Bart: No, Really I can't. It's a serious problem.
(Homer, Marge, and Lisa laugh)
(Bart starts to laugh)
Bart: What are we all laughing about?

I remember the scene very well, but not the plot of the episode. I'll not ask for clues as I want other people to have a go first.

I'm back!!!... let's see if I've returned exlusively for the quote comp. or if I'll wander off to other threads too. Right now I'm not that keen on the latter, though.

btw, I think we need clues here... I also remember the quote, season 3 or 4 maybe, but for the exact episode... as I said, clues, clues, CLUES, DAMN YOU...

haha I'm pretty sure that was principal skinner, when he's locked up somewhere. Was Edna with him?

 that was a funny quote

As for my clue, if i give the two lines before this, it'll be too bloody obvious. So here's just the one:

Homer: I'm surprised you don't remember, son. It was only eight years ago.
