A potential summer swoop for Francesco Totti has been suggested by Rossoneri patron Silvio Berlusconi, sparking furious transfer speculation.

Berlusconi was cornered by journalists as he fielded questions on his political situation as Prime Minister of Italy and was asked if he’d sign the Roma star.


“I won’t say a thing,” noted the multi-millionaire before nodding his head in agreement and smiling broadly.


This is certainly not the first time that Totti has been linked to the San Siro giants, as earlier this season the player confirmed he would appreciate such a move.

Roma have been quick to react and director Rosella Sensi released a statement to immediately cut out any more speculation.


“Totti will stay in Rome,” assured the daughter of President Franco Sensi. “We thank other sides for their interest, but we say no, thank you.”

A Roma without Totti and Cassano wouldn't be the same,we'd have a little trouble despising them as much as before


Seriously though,a Totti in Milan spells trouble.I think Ancelotti is trying to emulate Barca,which is essentially a team playing with three playmakers.Totti,Kaka and Rui Costa would be their answer to Ronaldinho,Deco and Giuly,while Pirlo is remarkably similar to Xavi.
