tell me why you think he will shine. when was the last time he shone? do you have any proof that he will shine?
What or who's to say that he won't shine again though? He shone last season and the season before that, the only reason he wasn't very good this season is because of two lengthy injuries. In the 2002 and 2003 seasons DP scored 16 goals apiece, and if he hadn't been out for a month or more in each season don't you think he would've breached the 20 mark? I do, and I think he's capable of doing that this coming season.

Out of his 32 league goals in those two seasons ten or less were penalties, and I don't see how you can say that Nedved and Thuram are better than him following this season. The man is class. Go to the video store and rent a tape of Juve-Real and you'll know what I mean.

I have to agree with Stu on this one. I think Del Piero will have rejuvenated form next season.

As far as I'm concerned ALL Del Piero has to do is stay fit. Remember what he was like at the beginning of the season prior to his injury in the Roma match? He was brilliant. A healthy, on form Del Piero is as good as support strikers get.

im a dp fan, but im kinda siding with josh on this one, dp isnt a natural goalscorer, he is often injured,, and he takes an eternatity to recover, and he appears tto have become a weak player in terms of being taclked and mentle strenght. He doesn seem to have the balls to do things any more, imo he still looks scared.he needs to regan a fighting spirit.

the title of the thread is revelotion.

reve-lotion. as in moisturizing lotion.
Maybe it is the new lotion from Revlon, with Cindy Crawford rubbing it over herself for the advertisement.

i say we make hillary duff the ad-girl for revlon. a good ad idea would be to have her take all her clothes off to slather some of that lotion in hard-to-reach places.

im still 17 an lovin it ;)

Got that right Josh. Hillary would be perfect for that role. Excuse me for a moment...........

Okay, I'm back. Hillary is soooo damn hot, I love her.
