The reason behind Deschamps possible departure (2 Viewers)

IF Deschamps is not our coach next season, what could be the ONE main reason behind it

  • a)The board only wanted him incharge for one season to begin with.

  • b)They arent convinced by his performance as manager, and expected more.

  • c)They wanted him to stay longer, but his transfer ambitions dont match those of the board.

  • d)The board wants him to stay, but Deschamps himself is not interested in staying.

  • e)our board doesn't know the meaning of appreciation and Loyalty, just like they did with players.

  • f)The fans arent happy with him.

  • g)Personality and/or strategy conflicts with board members

Andy: Your dead right it would be a disgrace if they dont give didi a chance in serie A. I mean can you imagine the shit he's had to go through this season. What do you think that dressing room was like when he took over? -30! a bad preperation in pre-season training(players leaving, rumours, scandal etc..) he had world champs and marquee players who were undecided on their future and probably not giving a very positive vibe and impression to all the then-unproven youngsters. but with help from dp and i assume nedved he has been able to motivate and create a team who up until a week before the season started we and he didnt know who would be in the starting 11. So just based on the fact of this and the fact that he truly does love the club he should stay.
p.s I would love someone like wenger or even Mourinho to come but right now its not right!!!

Prandelli doesn't really instill me with confidence whatsoever. I don't think he's a better manager than Deschamps.
I agree... if they actually want to let go of Deschamps, I would sincerely hope they replace him with someone a little better than Prandelli. Like Lippi, Mourinho, Wenger... or someone with a proven pedigree of success at the top.

Anything less makes the team look callous and unprofessional. Especially since DD is (correctly) calling into question the transfer priorities of Secco. Mesto is definitely not good enough to supplant any of the proven depth they have, and Iaquinta, while not bad, should not be a priority or a vaunted signing. He's 100% right on that, and if he's tossed on those grounds, the team has some serious credibility issues... and maybe that's why Buffon is saying he might not be back.
