The Play on Names Game (2 Viewers)

Hey guys, I've decided to try a new game... It probably won't be a mass participation one where it takes 2 seconds to think of a post, but I just wanted to have a go.

I don't want the game to move along too quickly and have hundreds of people posting new things for everyone to guess, so please no flooding of contributions until I see how it goes at first.

Okay, so here's how it goes. I'll write some kind of puzzle, and you guys have to guess which team/player I'm talking about...

Please be patient with this game, because the new puzzles might take a long time to think of...

The sounds may not always be phonetically correct (e.g. the clues might point you to the sound "zalayeti" but it means zalayeta...
