liked his movement off the ball and it was difficult for the opponent defense to mark him, great goal poacher and nutty celebrations after scoring goals.
and great goalscoring ratio.

i remember all the headaches, especially this once when we were 1 down on milan and they were in controll and on comes inzaghi passes abiati and then alone with the net and misses

simply he was great at the first couple of years but then he seems to waste 20 chances and get one goal, he seems to be always in an offside position. great diver though :p

Inzaghi had that deceptive quickness and poachers' instinct that made you feel that every loose ball bobbling around in the box would end up in the back of the net. His knack for popping up when least expected served us well.

But personally I'm not a big fan of his, he wasn't as complete a finisher as he should have been considering he could do little else but score, and the diving got to me (not that nobody in Juve dives or anything). IIRC he only got 11 goals in Serie A in his last season for us despite being a regular and Trezeguet who played less got 14; he was no Van Basten in Europe either.

Was offside way too much.
Other than that, good striker.
I liked how he partnered with Del Piero, except when he "took" Del Piero's goals.

very handfull for defenders though , not surprising when he was continually diving and moving off the ball all the time.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm, Lets see :)

Well as far as im concerened, when people talk about the most hated player of all, well mmmmmm Inzaghi and his brother come to mind.

Definitaly the most useless waste of sperm football player ever in the history of all football.

He missed more goals and gave me more heart attcks than any other player in the history of our team. And dont even get me started on his crap antics on the field and girlish behaviour.

Believe me, i've been following this team for a very long time with a passion stronger than some of you might even contemplate, and this player, on more than one occasion had me almost on the verge of flying to italy just so i could go to one of the trainings and spit on his face for beeing such a pussy on the field.

There;s always going to be a first in anything, and inzaghi is by far the only player that i have ever hated.

My 2 cents :)

Formed a great partnership at the time with Del Piero, but then when Juve made the revoultion and brought in Trez, that Trez-Del Piero partnership was even better and Juve didn't miss pippo for a second. He also latter deteriorated badly IMO with that fuking scary CL season where he was the best striker in the world for a moment but his injuries finished him off. And Milan didn't make much use of him except that one bloody CL season... in Juve he was better. Much like most players who moved from Juve (Except henry maybe ;) )

Since Pippo is not in Juve anymore, this thread should be in the Misc. Soccer section... only my opinion :D
I have to agree with Espectro here...

Moving this thread.
