Starts February 16 with Canada facing Norway.

What are your expectations for this tournament? How do you rank the teams? What players will dominate? What will your country's roster look like? etc

I have to say I haven't been this excited for a hockey tournament ever. My country, Sweden, are defending champions but we will have a hard time defending the title in Canada with small rinks and a crazy home crowd. In my book:

1. Canada
2. Russia
3. Sweden
4. US of A
5. Czechia
6. Finland
7. Slovakia
8. Belarus

Small rinks? I thought they built an arena for hockey alone with Olympic-sized ice.
I'm not sure if that's a joke, but if it wasn't; I doubt it.

If Sweden win this they'll make up for not qualifying for the World Cup SA.
    Indeed.

Just passing by to take Gold.

    :p
You can say that for the upcoming JWC but the Olympics will be a hard one. Some would even say Russia look better on paper.

Yeah, my bad. They're renaming GM Place to Canada Hockey Place and fixing up the exterior. NHL-sized ice.

I think Russia will be tough to beat if Malkin and Ovechkin put aside their egos. I have no idea why they dislike each other so much. Sweden have a bunch of young fantastic players too, as do Canada. If I have to guess, considering the home-advantage part of it all, I'd say Canada. No bias at all, guys. :D

I prefer the KKK line, both for their ability and for nostalgia purposes.
