I agree and the real sad part is Iverson has the most heart of anyone on the team and is one of the easier players too root for.
What they ought to do is either build a team with outside shooters, point gaurds who are unselfish and pass the ball, forwards and centers who rebound and play defense, guys who are role players. There is only one basketball and you only need so many guys on a team who can score. I think the team would be so much better off with 3 all-stars who average 23 points per game and a couple of role players rather then having 5 all-stars who average 23 ppg. That isn't how team sports work. It would be like making a national team in football where all 11 players were forwards. There is more to any sport then simply scoring.
My other idea, which would have been great this year, is take the Detroit Pistons, take Mehmet Okur off the team because he is a foreginer and replace him with Tim Duncan. There is your olympic team and I am sure they would win gold.
