Roland Garros SF:
[2] Alcaraz def. [8] Musetti, 4-6 7-6(3) 6-0 2-0 ret
[1] Sinner def. [6] Djokovic, 6-4, 7-5, 7-6(3).

Musetti was playing at an extremely high level. Such a tough break for him.

We're getting the #1 vs #2 matchup in both finals this weekend (first time since 2013 US Open).

Hope you guys got the popcorn ready for this one. This shit's gon be good.

earlier alcaraz won 3 points within a single game with drop shots, then fucked up like 5 in a row since. when does he try it again? at a crucial point, in the tie break. and wins the point

fucking savage

The game was great. But some part is missing. Perhaps because I am a fan of neither.

I'm waiting for the 3rd guy. Otherwise it would be their two men rivalry all the way for the next 10 years.

Sinner needs to get his proper long game fitness back up, but he obviously should have won with 3 champ points. Will be a good rivalry over the years.

I feel like Alcaraz turns it on when he needs to but Sinner will stay #1 through his consistency, he's almost robotic.

... he's almost robotic.
that's what makes me not enjoy his game too much. alcaraz has more variety and unpredictability

btw this is telling. alcaraz is just the wrong match up for sinner. alcaraz never gives up, and that's a pain in the ass. i think that sinner is supposed to find a way eventually as it's more a mentality thing than a tactical disadvantage. (unlike with federer who could never overcome that nadal top spin and consistently beat him on all surfaces)
