the end

Dillon. Shit; I'm still only in Dillion. Everytime I think I'm gonna wake up back in Mexico, then I find this I-95 South Carolina coffee running out my frijole.

I think all humans basically lease space on this planet and in this universe (just like we never own beer -- we just rent it for a while). What was land today may well have been sea before that, and/or inhabited by different peoples or creatures before. And what may have been true and reality many generations ago may have no bearing on today whatsoever -- whether by drought, receeding glaciers, ecological catastrophe (e.g., Easter Island), comet strike, the migration or starvation or viral eradication of tribes, or even the fact that there was once just one continent called Pangea.

Everything else is shaving hairs, because where do you draw the line then? It takes a lot of short-sighted arrogance to think that one puny lifetime in this world today amounts to more than all of that history. And when does one span of history become relevant and even more history before it become irrelevant?

And unfortunately, there are a lot of people who do think that way, and that has resulted in so much bloodshed, intolerance, and evil in the world.
Why are going all Jurassic on our asses? People lost their homes less than 50 years ago, hell there are people loosing their homes as we speak!

People are loosing homes all over the planet. If we took all those people and gave them rooms at South of the Border it could bring world peace.

South of the Border is freaking annoying :p Though, it does keep you 'entertained' on the long journey south.

If you hate the US so much and don't appreciate anything that comes out of it then indeed you should cease to use their products, such as Windows.
If you read my post that you quoted only the first sentence of it, then you'll find your answer...

lookout guys...I think he's got a bomb strapped to his body!! :shocked2:
    Very funny...

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Such as the fact that I can claim I am a direct descendant of the original sauropod dinosaurs that lived on that land eons before any person laying claim to it today. Therefore it belongs to me personally.

That is, because I am completely myopic (hey, my descendants had brains the size of peas!) and do not realize that the earth and universe always have other plans -- where mountains form and fall, seas rise, lava covers the earth, asteroids strike, etc. Meaning: all this is going to seem downright silly when we're all here bitching about something 30 meters under water on the sea floor.

Belief in any real "pemanence" for the planet when you start talking across generations and our own lifetimes is such a delusion.

    :D
I don't claim anything...Those are facts. You have the right to believe or not, though...

Go back and read. I didn't use quotations for LAND, I used them for "Your", as in you, personally, have never owned land. If you did, then you would have documents showing transfer of title and the amount of money you paid for the land. I suspect past members of your family owned the land that you call "Your" land, and that is why my use of quotations was correct.

P.S. I hope you get some land to call your own, and I hope it happens soon.
If you really are asking seriously, I do have documents supporting my "claim" that my father owns a land there...And he has built a nice 2-floor building on it in 1966, so, I'm not talking about dinosaurs here...

@ Rami - if somebody did usurp my home, then I would not want to live at South of the Border. If I went on welfare and that was the only housing available for someone like me, then I might consider it, though my pooper would never forgive me. :p

No, actually I was not really questioning the ownership of the land, I was just pointing out why I used the quotations - as it was technically your father's land.

Well, you're talking about the human rights and the organisation of the lands to occupy all its inhabitants in a peaceful way with the succession of the generations. Actually, I respect what you did say.

Even though, it is pretty clear that you're talking generally. I asked you one simple question; I'm talking about the right of the Palestinians to return and own their land. So, if you included the Palestinians as being the cause for the bloodshed, intolerance and evil in that world, just allow me to be informed about what your vision is, again, in order not to misunderstand you.

Everything listed by the thread starters are acutally reasons to hate the US. The general I.Q level does not help either...

Rebel and Ahmedios. It is no surprise to anyone that you don't like the idea of this thread. Now, there is already another thread where you can stay on topic and continue your arguments. So why do you keep posting in this thread and further derailing it? It just doesn't make any sense.
